Welcome to the Yorkshire Region of The British Cactus and Succulent Society
The Society is organised into geographical zones and the Yorkshire region includes six Branches throughout the area. See our map for these locations or follow the links on the right for details of our Branches.
Yorkshire has always been a great place for cactus enthusiasts ever since the Yorkshire Cactus Society was formed in 1945. By 1947 this had become the National Cactus and Succulent Society which was later merged with its friendly rival to form the BCSS.
Today each Branch offers a range of meetings and other activities. The Zone also holds an annual Rally in October and arranges a number of open days to cactus nurseries in the area. Full details of this year's Rally are available on our rally page.
If you can get to one of our Branches why not come along and introduce yourself. You will always be assured of a very warm welcome.
